| Summary | The
Windows 2000 series is a graphical OS, primarily designed for corporate
workstations and servers. Windows 2000 server is the follow
on to Windows NT server, and adds FAT32 support, improved stability, broader
range of device drivers including USB and IEEE 1394 support. For network
environments, Active Directory was added to improve manageability and
security. This server edition integrates with Microsoft BackOffice Windows 2000 support and updates will end on July 13, 2010. |
